Anniversary date-night ideas in Koramangala (under ₹3,000)
Three full evenings — venue, dinner, theater, dessert — that fit comfortably under three grand.
Three hours in a private theatre with your partner—no crowds, no phones buzzing, no strangers. Just you two and whatever you want to watch. That's what an anniversary date night at Rosae in Koramangala looks like. And yes, you can do it under Rs 3,000 for the whole evening if you plan it right.
We run eight theatres here in Bangalore's liveliest neighborhood, and every couple asks the same thing: how do I make this special without spending a fortune? So here's what we'd actually do to celebrate an anniversary on a realistic budget using our couple rooms.
Pick the right couple theatre for your vibe

We have five couple-only rooms designed for exactly this moment, each with a different feel and price point.
DREAM (Rs 1,650) is built for anniversaries. Two comfortable reclining seats that recline fully—the kind you sink into—Dolby surround sound so precise you'll hear every note, 4K projection sharp enough to catch details you'd miss in a multiplex, and a plush sofa accent that's just elegant without shouting "I'm fancy." That price leaves you Rs 1,350 for everything else in your three-hour window.
STELLAR (Rs 1,799) is the premium couple room if you want to splurge—same Dolby and 4K, recliner + sofa combo, the most luxe setup. It costs a bit more but still leaves Rs 1,201 for dinner.
PHANTOM (Rs 1,499) is a solid middle ground—recliner seat, full 4K and Dolby, couple-focused design, and you've got Rs 1,501 left to spend on the evening.
CINEPOD PRO (Rs 1,295) is the sweet spot if budget matters. You still get 4K, Dolby surround, a recliner seat, and the intimacy of a private couple room. That leaves Rs 1,705 for a proper dinner and dessert.
CINEPOD (Rs 999) is the most affordable. It has 4K (no Dolby), comfy sofa, couple seating—a real private theatre experience at the lowest price. You'll have Rs 2,001 to spend on food, drinks, and a nice dessert.
Pick based on your budget and what matters most to you. All five are engineered for two people; all have full privacy.
What to watch together
You've got 180 minutes. Most films are 120–150 minutes, so plan to arrive 15 minutes early to settle in, start the movie at the 10-minute mark, and you're done by the 2.5-hour mark.
Stick to something you'll both actually enjoy. This isn't a date to test whether your partner likes arthouse cinema—it's the date night where you both want to feel good. Bring your own content via Apple TV or Chromecast and play a film you've been meaning to watch together, or request one of the Hindi/English releases currently in theatres. Theatre mode means no ads, no buffering, full screen, proper sound.
Pro move: If you're the sentimental type, ask us about decorating the theatre. We have cake and balloon add-ons that turn the space into something extra without breaking the budget.
Dinner in and around the slot
This is where your remaining budget really stretches.
Option 1: Order into the theatre. We let you bring in food or order from restaurants nearby and have it delivered during your slot. Koramangala has a hundred options within 5 minutes—pizza, biryani, sushi, Italian, Punjabi, you name it. Order something you can share: two mains + one dessert + maybe a bottle of wine or sparkling cider will run you Rs 800–1,200 including delivery. Eat during the film (the recliners make it genuinely comfortable) or eat before and save the second half for focus.
Option 2: Hit Koramangala proper before the slot. If your theatre is booked for 4–7 PM, do dinner at 2:30–3:30 PM at one of the dozen sit-down places within a 10-minute walk. Restaurant hopping is a Koramangala tradition—go for a casual spot (not fine dining for an anniversary) and keep it to Rs 600–900 for two. Then roll into your theatre for the film with enough time to settle and chat.
Dessert and the closing moment
After three hours in a private room, you'll want to stretch your legs.

Walk to Cafe Coffee Day or a dessert spot on Koramangala's main strip (literally 5 minutes walk). Order a shared dessert—pastry, ice cream, chocolate cake—and coffees. This costs Rs 300–500 and gives you wind-down time in public after being alone.
Or stay intimate: If you've decorated the theatre or if the vibe is right, ask us for a small dessert box or order a cake slice from a nearby bakery and have it waiting when you exit. This keeps the whole arc contained and private.

FAQ
Do I need to book far in advance for an anniversary? Not necessarily—we keep slots open week-to-week and you can book online same-day. Peak times (Friday/Saturday evenings, holidays) fill up 2–3 weeks ahead, so book early for those. Weekday afternoons and morning slots rarely fill.
Can I bring alcohol into the theatre? No spirits or beer, but wine and mocktail bottles are fine. Bring glasses if you want them.
What if the film I want isn't available? Bring your own via Apple TV, Chromecast, or HDMI input. We support all major platforms. Or request a specific release and we'll check what's available that day.
Is there a minimum spend on food orders? No minimum—order one samosa or a full meal from any restaurant. We just coordinate delivery and timings so it shows up when you want it.
Ready to book a couple's theatre for your anniversary? Head to Rosae theaters and pick your favourite room. Three hours, just you two, and a night you'll actually remember.
